  2. Roses in December – that is actually the title of an excellent book on grief that I received at the funeral home when my Dad passed away more than 17 years ago. i devoured it. it was written by someone who had encountered much personal grief so it was not written from a theoretical perspective. the premise was the the hope factor, and the value in recognizing roses in our December. that is it just in a nutshell, of course. but i found it very helpful, and this post is a beautiful illustration of it. thanks for sharing.
