Questions from a microlight: What lies beyond the horizon – and beneath the mist?
… why, the curve of the Earth, of course! evocative photo–makes me ache with longing, Jude….
The curve happens when we bank and the photographer (me!) leans a bit!
Lovely image; where was this photo taken?
Thank you! We live in the Dordogne in southern France – great scenery for flying!
Full of it!
Holy Gaucamole! I’m stunned. I won’t be able to contain myself if I had welcomed with that view.
You just need a microlight, a husband who can fly it, and a camera! Come to France and we’ll take you up!
Oh Jude! Don’t say that. 😦 How I wish it’s that easy! How I wish.
Thanks Susan. it was a fabulous flight that day, so calm and clear.
That is way beyond what we can see!
It was a gorgeous flight that day!
I think that this photo definitely captures the essence of the weekly photo challenge. It certainly makes me ask the question “what’s beyond?”
Thanks Kate. When you’re up there in that sort of sky it seems to free the mind, and possibilities seem to be as endless as that distant horizon.
You forgot, “why can’t I stay up here forever?”
I’d get hungry!
